Scott Rench is an artist and designer based in Chicago, and currently works as an art director at a advertising agency there. As a ceramist for over 15 years, Scott developed a technique for creating images on a computer, then transferring them to clay. My work represents the next generation of ceramic artists, who fuse today's technology with one of the oldest traditions in art. To some the computer is completely foreign while others have grown up in front of one. This familiarity will lead to the creation of new modes of expression in the ceramic arts. Matthew Curry is a Grammy nominated designer, illustrator and painter who resides and works from his studio in the Washington DC area. He is the principal of the design studio, Imagefed. His ability to blur the lines between design and illustration has garnered him a varied and unique client list, including the musical group Thievery Corporation in which Mathew produced the cover art for their latest album. Originally from Tempe, Arizona, Jason Thielke studied art at Northern Illinois University, lived in Sicily for two years and now calls Denver, Colorado home. Jason observes, documents, and designs urban landscapes and their inhabitants, providing commentary on modern life. He has always been inspired by his surroundings, at times overwhelmed by them. His strong emotional connection to the built environment and its inevitable rise and fall provide the foundation for his growing body of work. Born and raised in Tokyo, after graduating high school he decided to travel to Denver, Colorado to study English and to learn to snowboard. He then moved to the San Francisco Bay area and enrolled at the California College of the Arts, where he studied illustration and graduated in 2004. His works are diverse and incorporate a variety of mediums from handmade paper-clay toy figures, acrylic paints, wood and canvas. Ogi is currently living once again in Japan but he regularly exhibits internationally.
